Computer hardware refers to the physical components of a computer system that can be seen and touched. These components include the central processing unit (CPU), memory, storage devices, input devices, and output devices.
The CPU is often considered the brains of the computer, as it performs most of the calculations and controls the operation of the computer. Memory is used to store data and instructions that the CPU needs to access quickly. Storage devices, such as hard drives and solid-state drives, provide long-term storage for files and programs.
Input devices allow users to enter data and commands into the computer, such as keyboards and mice. Output devices display the results of computer processing, such as monitors and printers.
